The Institut d'astrophysique de Paris wishes you an excellent year 2022!

The space telescope of all extremes James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has finally been launched on December 25th, 2021. It carries promises of many discoveries within all domains of astrophysics, from the dawn of the Universe (the epoch of reionization) to planets formation. It will open a new window on unchartered territories, like the formation of the first stars and galaxies[1]. The Institute d’astrophysique de Paris has been strongly involved in preparing the program of scientific observations.

It is with this evocative video, of splendidous poetry, that the Institut d’astrophysique de Paris wishes everyone an excellent new year, while eagerly awaiting the unveiling of new wonders of the Universe.
