================================================================================ The file AGN_NLR_nebular_feltre16.tar.gz in this directory contains the values of some of the most commonly used optical and ultraviolet emission-lines predicted by models of nebular emission from the narrow-line emitting regions of AGN (presented in Feltre et al. 2016). These models have been computed using the latest version of the photoionization code CLOUDY (Ferland et al. 2013) ================================================================================ For further details on the model parameters, please see: Feltre, A., Charlot, S., Gutkin, J. 2016, MNRAS, 456, 3354 ================================================================================ ******************************************************************************** *********************** DESCRIPTION OF MODEL FILES ***************************** ******************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************** AGN_NLR_nebular_feltre16.tar.gz contains 16 files, each corresponding to given value of the interstellar gas metallicity Z, specifically: Z= 0.0001, 0.0002, 0.0005, 0.001, 0.002, 0.004, 0.006, 0.008, 0.014, 0.017, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04, 0.05, 0.06, 0.07. The file names are built as follows: nlr_nebular_Zaaa.txt, where aaa are the digits after the decimal point of the value of the interstellar gas metallicity, for example: nlr_nebular_Z020.txt corresponds to Z=0.02 Each model file contains 24 columns: col.1: log(Us), logarithmic value of the ionization parameter col.2: xid, dust-to-metal mass ratio col.3: nh, hydrogen gas density col.4: alpha, UV spectral index defined as F_nu \propto nu^alpha cols 5-24: predicted intensities of 20 optical and ultraviolet emission-lines (in units of erg/s and corresponding to an accretion luminosity of the central source of 10^45 erg/s; line luminosities scale linearly with this quantity), specifically: [OII]3727 Hbeta [OIII]4959 [OIII]5007 [OI]6300 [NII]6548 Halpha [NII]6584 [SII]6717 [SII]6731 NV1240 CIV1548 CIV1551 HeII1640 OIII]1661 OIII]1666 [SiIII]1883 SiIII]1888 [CIII]1907 CIII]1910
