Sunday July 14th
Bus pick-up, to go to the Observatory:
First stop: at the airport, outside the arrival terminal, 18:30
(the Bus will wear a sign " Neon school" )
Second stop: downtown, SantaCruz de LaPalma, North Bus Stop
(Avenida de los Indianos), 19:00
then drive to the Observatory, where diner will be served

(As a possible rescue, a car should also go up from the airport,
after arrival of the 19:30 Binter flight)

The program of the second week
will be finalised while up on the mountain
Lectures, and data reduction during this second week will take
place in the Mayantigo office in Santa Cruz
Lectures: Mornings, at 11:00
Monday 22d: Cecilia Farina, the new WEAVE spectrograph
for the WHT
Tuesday 23d: Michel Dennefeld, Evolution of optical
telescopes
Wednesday 24th: Simon Tulloch, Detectors for Astronomy
Friday 26th whole day is reserved for the presentation of
the results, and discussion with the students (jobs, carriers,
etc...)
