«  Measuring the [CII] power spectrum to constrain the cosmic star formation rate density with CONCERTO »

Despite the last deep surveys that have deepen our understanding of the Epoch of Reionization (EoR), this period is still poorly constrained. The CONCERTO instrument is the first realizing the Line Intensity Mapping (LIM) survey mapping the integrated [CII] surface brightness at z>5.2, seeking to understand the role played by dusty star-forming galaxies in reionising the Universe. I my talk, I will introduce the concept of LIM, an observational method that emerged some years ago and describe the [CII] survey conducted on the COSMOS field, that aim to measure the cosmic star formation rate density across the EoR. Then, I will present the first results on the data interpretation we obtained using the realistic mock observations from SIDES, that Athanasia Gkogkou (following talk) will introduce in details. In this section, I will adress the deconfusion method, we tested in order to reconstruct the [CII] signal embed in the brigh foregrounds, and discuss the detection significance our method can achieves. I will summarize these results and concluded on how the CO, despite being a foreground for the [CII] survey, can be used to constrained the molecular gaz density.
