Roland Bacon
Centre de Recherche Astrophysique de Lyon (Saint-Genis-Laval, France)

Six months after the start of science operation and just a year after its first light, the 2nd generation VLT panoramic integral field spectrograph MUSE has already produced new science results. After a short presentation of the instrument and its capabilities, I will present the first results obtained in various fields: from massive spectroscopy of globular clusters to the ultra-deep spectroscopic survey of the Hubble Deep Field South.
