« Constraining cosmological models with the effective field theory of large-scale structures »

In this talk, I will present the paradigm of the effective field theory of large-scale structures (EFTofLSS), a semi-analytical method which provides an accurate description of the galaxy power spectrum and aims at improving cosmological constraints from large-scale structure surveys, a major challenge in the context of the forthcoming data from DESI and Euclid. First, I will introduce this theory and discuss its consistency and predictive power. Then, I will present the constraints of the EFTofLSS applied to BOSS and eBOSS data on the LCDM model. Finally, I will mention the constraints from this theory on early dark energy, a model that potentially resolves the Hubble tension, and on decaying cold dark matter, a model that possibly resolves the S8 tension.
