The 2016 Observing school
The 2016 observing
school will again be a Summer School, and will take place
in Greece:
from June 19th to July 2d, 2016
The school will focus on practical observations at the telescope, followed by data reduction
and presentation of the scientific results.
The annual meeting of the European Astronomical Society (EWASS) is planned the week after,
in Athens, so that NEON students can eventually participate in that meeting too (not covered by us).
The school is open to PhD students in
Astrophysics, who need to gain observing experience.
Last year's Master students, or early PostDocs can also be considered
Potential candidates will need to register before April 2016.
The registration is open here, and will close on April 1st.
