Monthly public conferences

Every month on a Tuesday, since more than 20 years, the IAP organizes conferences open to the public.

The programme of conferences is set up by Florence Durret, Guillaume Hébrard, and Daniel Kunth.

COVID-19 health crisis update: while continuing to broadcast our lectures live on YouTube, we can now once again welcome the public in our amphitheatre, with some constraints: capacity reduced, wearing of masks, health pass, mandatory reservation, as before.

In 2013, a series of monthly conferences entitled “Le ciel entre science et religions” (The Sky: between science and religion), jointly organized by the École Pratique des Hautes Études (IESR-EPHE) and the IAP, was also open to the public on the IAP premises. More information here.
