"A new MOND law: a universal relation between the baryonic and `dynamical' surface densities in disc galaxies"

Mordehai Milgrom

The MOND paradigm is a modified-dynamics alternative to dark matter. It posits breakdown of standard dynamics below some acceleration a0. In this limit, dynamics become space-time scale invariant. After a brief review of MOND I'll describe a newly discovered consequence of MOND: A universal relation between the central surface density of the baryonic disc and the total column density along the line through the galaxy's center (largely a would be `dark matter' attribute).
